The short answer
When you save a search, Vinted shows a number with a plus next to it the next time you open the search bar: the new listings since you last looked. Opening the search resets it (Vinted help: saved searches). New listings in a saved search are not on Vinted’s list of push notification triggers (Vinted help: managing notifications). So if you expected a push for each new listing, nothing on your phone is broken. Both pages checked 9 October 2026.
What Vinted does send notifications for
According to Vinted’s help centre, you get a notification when:
- a member you follow lists a new item
- the price of an item in your favourites drops
- an item in your favourites sells
- someone favourites an item you listed
- someone starts following you
- you get feedback from another member
- you get a new message
- Vinted sends you news
Two of these help buyers: follow sellers whose style you like, and favourite items you want, to hear when their price drops. Neither covers brand-new listings from people you don’t follow.
If other Vinted notifications stopped too
- In the Vinted app, go to your profile, then Settings, then Push notifications. The first option turns all of them on or off.
- In the same list, Other notifications has a daily limit for notifications that are not high priority. A low limit means some stop arriving for the rest of the day.
- On the phone: iPhone Settings > Notifications > Vinted; Android Settings > Apps > Vinted > Notifications (names differ by phone maker). Focus or Do Not Disturb also hides them.
- On the Vinted website, notifications cannot be turned off; you can only choose which ones also arrive by email.
Saved searches you never open are removed after 6 months, and you can save as many as you like (Vinted help).
How to get a push for every new listing
